We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of PHP 8.0 and 8.1 for all of our web hosting customers. If you would like to migrate your site to PHP either version, send us a note at techsupport@ashdowntech.com and we’ll upgrade your site right away. There is no cost for this upgrade and you can downgrade again if you have any troubles with the upgrade.
Previous versions of PHP including 7.2 & 7.3 are still active but we recommend against their use. PHP 7.4 continued to be widely available and will continue to be so for at least through the end of 2024.
