You no doubt have heard of the bug found recently in the shell program BASH. This is a software package run on Linux servers to provide, amongst other things, command line functionality.

On our servers we do not provide either the public or our customers with shell access, which prevents them from accessing BASH directly. Neither do we allow the creation of scripts that might make use of BASH. Therefore the risk to our servers is deemed to be minimal.

All our servers were patched the day before this bug was announced publicly on Sept 25, 2014.
