We experienced a major delay with inbound email delivery this afternoon, March 3rd 2017, starting around 1pm. The problem was resolved at approximately 3:30pm.
During that time, email came into our mail system and was queued but not processed through to delivery due to an issue with the email virus scanning software.
This problem did NOT result in a loss of any email. Once the problem was resolved, all email that was queued began processing normally. We have multiple servers that handle inbound email. You may receive some emails out-of-order as each one catches up with the backlog.
